After 3 years pause on running CAP Money Courses, we are starting up again as part of our response to cost of living crisis.
We are pleased to announce our first community listening event in support of our Local Nature Action Plan.
Tuesday 27th September at 6:30pm at The Tumps.
We want to know all about why nature is important to our residents and to have an open conversation about what we are doing for nature in Patchway.
Please do come along and voice your opinions so that we can help you to help nature.
There will be a Wildlife Walk around the Tumps as well as discussions on how we can improve our green spaces in Patchway. Hopefully, we will have some bat detectors on hand as well as some useful resources for everyone.
Event is here – https://fb.me/e/3q44XDqxc
Thank you to Patchway Conservation Group for their support with this event.
We are on the lookout for stall holders for our Christmas Market on Friday 25th November 2022
We are very excited to be planning a visit from Patchway to our German twin town, Gauting, in October.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Gwyn Williams. He had been a valued member of our team and an integral part of Coniston Community Association since the very beginning back in 1993.
Gwyn was Chairman of Coniston Community Association for over 19 years from 1993 until December 2012, where he then stepped into the Vice Chair role until February 2014 and then was a Trustee member for a further year up until April 2015. Serving for a total of 22 years from 1993 to 2015.
Our thoughts are with his family at this time. We are so grateful for the role he played here at Coniston.
This week we see our Baby & Toddler groups coming back, as well as our fitness classes offering 1:1 indoor sessions.
It is so great to see. Highly recommend supporting them in these tough times. Look on our Events Page to see what’s on.
We have also had a surge of wedding receptions booked here, which is fantastic and we express our well wishes to the happy couple.
For wedding receptions the government has stated:
– Right now: they can have 15 attendees
– From 17th May*: this will rise to 30 people
– From 21st June*: no longer capped.
Now, I know a lot of you are keen to get back to some normality, but we are following the government’s guidelines to the letter.
If you want to get excited why not book a celebration in advance, celebrate a Birthday or just a get together with your friends and family.
Government restrictions for Birthday parties are as follows:
– Right now: Garden parties of rule of six, or two households
– From 17th May*: Garden parties of up to 30 adults outside, and indoor parties of up to six adults (we have a beautiful outdoor courtyard, which is great for this)
– From 21st June*: All parties allowed.
*these are provisional dates and may be subject to change
We can also arrange party packages for this too, including:
– Soft Play & Toy Hire
– Yoga Parties
– Craft Parties
– Cinema Party Set Up
– Messy Play Parties.
