We are very excited to be planning a visit from Patchway to our German twin town, Gauting, in October.  The dates are 26-30 October and there is still time for you to join us.  The arrangements are being made by Jack Turner, Patchway Town Clerk, and you can contact him on clerk@patchwaytowncouncil.gov.uk

There will be a group of young people and a youth worker taking part, which is really good news.  Also the Mayor and Town Clerk representing the Town Council and 8 residents.  Families in Gauting will offer accommodation to the visitors, so the only cost is the airfare from London to Munich. (No direct connections to Bristol) and Jack is making arrangements for everyone.

The programme planned is as follows:

Wed 26 October:  We will be met on arrival at the airport in the evening.

Thursday 27 October: School visits and local recycling projects.  After lunch, sightseeing in Gauting

Friday 28 October:  Day in Munich visiting the national museum and Nymphenburg Castle and Park in the afternoon.  Dinner in a restaurant in the evening

Saturday 29 October:  Various excursions to nearby places of interest.  Civic Dinner in the evening Sunday 30 October:  Afternoon departure from Munich airport.
