Welcome to Coniston Community Centre. Your vibrant and friendly meeting place at the heart of Patchway.
We are dedicated to providing a welcoming, dynamic and supportive environment to the communities of Patchway and the surrounding areas.
There is so much on offer at the Centre – from room and equipment hire, to a wide variety of classes and activities.
The centre is open 7 days a week and can cater for meetings, fitness & dance classes, parties, photoshoots, art groups, personal training sessions, performance rehearsals and so much more.
Coniston Café is here to welcome you with the smell of coffee and cakes, serving fresh and affordable meals prepared to order.
The café is also home to our Community Fridge where we have supplied food to those in need of a little extra help for over 3 years! We hate to see things go to waste and we know how tough it can be in these difficult times, so we strive to make sure no family gets left behind.
Our Community Centre also operates as a ‘Can’t Wait Stop’. We allow our building for use as Public Toilets; from the kids on the school run to the bin men in the morning, we know how important it is to have such a facility.
And if that wasn’t enough, we also do our part to help end Period Poverty by offering free sanitary products to our centre users who are in need.
So why not pop in for a chat and see what we’ve got in store? You can find us on Coniston Road, close to Aztec West and the A38.

Our Story
History of Coniston Community Association
A registered charity (No.1036917), the association has been operating since 1993 to help arrange activities for all sections of the community in Coniston.
Opening of the Community Centre
The Centre is funded by the Big Lottery and Patchway Town Council and is run by Coniston Community Association. The centre officially opened in July 2004, before relaunching after the construction of the second half of the building in June 2011. Along with the relaunch of the centre, brought the opening of a Cafe on the ground floor.
Over the past 10 years the centre has grown to become the home to a number of community groups and local businesses. We have been able to provide low cost office space and community rooms, which is much needed for the continuation of these groups.
Please see our Groups & Activities page for a full list of our partner organisations.
